These round metal planters are manufactured from Corten steel, which is designed to rust for a limited period, creating a barrier against further corrosion. Developed for cladding bridges and buildings, this type of container is very hard wearing despite its rusty appearance.

Standard sizes usually available from stock in 2 weeks but we can make bespoke sizes as well - please ask for prices.

Product Information

Manufactured from 2mm thick Corten and fully welded so there are no visible seams. They are supplied unrusted and it takes a few months for them to develop the fully rusted protective coating. During this period there can be rusty run off when they get wet and this can stain surfaces. We can supply a rust accelerator to speed up the process.
